Regulations for tourist buses

No parking or standing for coaches in the city of Salzburg, except on the bus parking lots Nord (North) Süd (South) and Hellbrunn or on private bus parking lots at hotels and restaurants. The no-parking or standing zones must be strictly observed. We would like to point out that parking violations will be controlled and enforced even more rigorously! The fine for a parking offense, e.g. in the inner city is € 150.00.
BUS PARKING LOTS:
o NORTH o SOUTH o HELLBRUNN
A parking fee in the amount of € 38.00 will be charged per 24 hours at the NORTH and SOUTH bus parking lots, starting with the time of driving onto the parking lot and payable at the automatic payment machine. The ticket entitles you to enter and exit the facility freely during the 24 hours. Coaches carrying guests staying in the city overnight will pay a one-time parking fee of € 38.00, regardless of the length of their stay. Appropriate exit tickets will be issued by the respective hotel. No parking fee will be due if the bus can be parked on a private parking lot. Free parking for tourist buses is available at the HELLBRUNN bus parking lot, if your passengers visit the Trick Fountains or have a meal (entire group!) at the "Gasthaus zu Schloss Hellbrunn". The following rates will apply to buses using Hellbrunn for parking only: € 10.00 per hour, € 50.00 maximum fee per day. Bus connections are provided from the SOUTH parking lot to the city center. A shuttle service is provided from the NORTH bus parking lot to the terminal (bus drivers only!). Shuttle Service NORTH: May 1 - Oct. 31, Advent, Christmas and New Year's. Please refer to the schedule for the exact times of departure (timetable posted at the bus parking lot and North terminal).

Passenger boarding and unboarding only.
In the interest of the coaches behind yours you are requested to drive your bus away after passengers disembark and to use the bus bay for BOARDING and UNBOARDING only, not to wait for passengers. Non-compliance with the effective regulations will be subject to police fines. The bus may be towed away!
PROHIBITED ZONE
Prohibited zone/Pedestrian zone (see map). Please observe the absolute driving ban for all buses in this zone between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Parked buses obstructing the flow of traffic can be clamped, e.g. when parked at one of the bus terminals. If your bus is clamped, please report to the nearest police station. Please switch off the engine while your bus is parked!
