Explore Salzburg without barriers

Most of our tours are barrier-free, and we are more than happy to give you further information and advice – just give us a call. Our experienced austriaguides are looking forward to helping you find the best way to explore Salzburg’s world-famous attractions. With our help, blind or visually impaired guests can experience this wonderful city in a specific way. We are happy to inform you that all our guided tours also are possible in sign language! Please book such a guided tour in time.

Two sights in Salzburg are less suitable for people with limited mobility: These are Mozart’s Birthplace, a historic house from the 14th century where due to preservation orders there is no way of installing an elevator, and the fortress Hohensalzburg, where you can reach the first lookout terrace offering a magnificent view of the old town, however access to the inside area of the fortress and the museums are not barrier-free.

We would also like to recommend the "Exploring Salzburg Without Barriers"  https://www.salzburg.info/en/salzburg/barrier-free brochure edited by the Salzburg Tourist Information, which is especially designed to give disabled visitors detailed information and useful tips.

We hope that we have been able to help you in the planning of your Salzburg vacation, we wish you a pleasant stay and look forward to your call.
